40,000 Products Non-GMO Project Verified by FoodChain ID
Industry Leader Reaches Milestone Under Newly Appointed CEO David Carter
Fairfield, IA. Sept. 17, 2015. FoodChain ID announced today that it has successfully verified 40,000 products for the Non-GMO Project Product Verification Program. Since 2006, FoodChain ID has worked with over 2,000 companies, including many of the industry’s leading brands, ensuring that products meet the rigorous technical requirements necessary to earn use of the Non-GMO Project’s popular butterfly seal. Additionally, the company announced that David Carter has been appointed CEO following the departure last year of former CEO, Sandy Kepler. Carter has been with the company for the ten years they worked with the Non-GMO Project (NGP), first as co-developer of the Product Verification Program and then as the exclusive technical administrator during the NGP’s initial seven years of operation.
